Our Four Steps To Success


Discovery Meeting

The meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we can work together going forward. This meeting is at our expense as it is important we get the chance to make sure the relationship is right for you and MBFS.

Our objective is to gain a better understanding of the bigger financial picture and what you hope to achieve with your life. We will also need to determine what level of risk you are comfortable taking to get there because all of our clients are different; we want to ensure we have all the facts to give you all the options most suitable to your circumstances. The majority we can get from listening to you and asking the right questions to establish your priorities.

At the end of this meeting we agree how to proceed and how MBFS will be paid for their services so you don’t get any surprises.



The next stage is creating your financial plan tailored to your individual needs to help you meet your wishes/needs. We carry out our Independent Whole of market research and formulate our recommendations based on your individual needs..



We will talk you through our recommendations and make sure you fully understand the approach we take taking. At this stage you have time to think about our recommendations and what we are proposing is right for you.

If you are happy with our recommendations and happy to proceed, we can complete all the paperwork and will liaise with the providers and any other professionals involved on your behalf. There will be a fee charged at this stage for implementation; again we will agree the fee upfront so you don’t get any surprises, as outlined in our Personal client agreement.


Monitor Progress

Once we have put your plan in action we offer regular updates to ensure that you are still on the right path to achieving your goals. This also gives us a chance to update you on any changes in Legislation/Taxation that may affect you.

We also like to keep in touch in case there have been any changes to your circumstances or attitude to investment risk, to see if any changes are required to set a new course for you.

For providing this service, we will charge an ongoing fee that is based on a percentage of your funds under management and is detailed in each of our Personal Client Agreement.
